Is frustrating even though I can still read my email. msg file, saved within Outlook 2016, Windows 10 won't let me associate this file type with Outlook 2016. Work Offline allows Outlook to appear like it is online but you will only have access to mail that has already been saved. I never know what I am signing into because microsoft sets up 2 email accounts associated with the same email address. In Outlook, check that Work Offline is not toggled.
It seems like some disconnect from the consumer and business divisions of microsoft and also they way they licences software on computers vs email accounts for business accounts.Īny suggestions.this is getting stupid. I log into my office 365 admin & email with an email address, but sometimes it will log me into a store or a new account that was set up when I installed windows 10 that does not showĪny current email. proplus being the software account, and business essentials the email.Īlso microsoft & Windows 10 created 2 other accounts associated with my office 365 domain email / account. Compared settings of the two computer and they look the same, in registry, Office and Internet Explorer. The images will show in Webmail and will also show if forward to a different account running the same versions of Windows and Office. I have opened in Safe Mode and it works fine (windows open correctly) and as per other. This is on a new fresh computer with Windows 7 pro, Office 2016 and Outlook 2016 with gmail account.

Hey Guys Having issues with my outlook account, I am trying to open a new email, or pop-out an existing email, and although another screen appears in the 'Taskbar' the window doesnt actually open. I think it may have something to do with the multiple accounts associated with outlook. Changing the screen resolution may have caused it, but you can fix it without changing display settings.
The usual cause is because the window is pushed off the edge of the screen. Clicking Restore seems to minimize the Window, not restore it. I have quick repaired, online repaired, reset defaults, set default in outlook. This user's problem was that Outlook is either minimized or maximized. I can still open the email but I end up with 20 of these error message that I eventually have to close to open any other mail off the server. When I try to open email saved to our server I get 3 identical error messages "either no default email or not authorized to n outlook and set it to default".
